Can someone pick up a copy of the May issue of Elle Quebec for the archives? Joni content, as yet unknown... any guesses at to which song it'll be? Message to JM.com: "I am writing to you on behalf of all the editors at ELLE QUC BEC magazine. For our May 2012 issue (on newsstands, April 13), we had the idea of writing an article on the 50 songs that it takes to be a woman. What are the 50 songs that every woman should listen to at least once in her life?, we asked ourselves. We then proceeded to select songs that talk about life, death, love, hateb& Beautiful songs, essential songs, each of them still as relevant today as it was the first day it came out." There are so many Joni phrases out there it seems quite the task to think of narrowing them down. Afterall, she has a way with words. However, I have a phrase that seems to be popping up a lot for me lately. I was wondering what other great lyrics, phrases, little earworm bits have formed for other Joni fans. The one I keep hearing now is : "the moon swept down black water like an empty spotlight". It is so powerful on so many levels, yet so concise. I was driving home tonight, near water & though the full moon wasn't out, I can't see black water at night without thinking of those powerful words. Any one out there want to share theirs ? Danger Will "Spotify" Robinson A good friend of mine says computer algorithms sometimes need to be changed due to the data that they are acquiring to make a decision. That's need to take place on the Joni Mitchell Spotify Overview. Right now the Top Hit on Joni's Overview is "Got 'Til It's Gone (Feat -Tip and Joni Mitchell) Janet Jackson. So any of you well connect "Geeks" out there that can rectify this problem, you help in this would be greatly appreciated. Wondering if Rhino pays someone the big bucks to push songs off their releases. On many of an Artist Overivew the Rhino albums near the top.
