I forgot the live albums. I saw Joni with LA Express with CSNY Wembley 1974, Hence the desire to hear more MoAisles type material. So the song California was exactly how i felt. 1979: 4th album = Mingus I was heavily into jazz and Mingus. While waiting on tables i met a film professor from Berkeley who was a friend of Mingus. We first listened to the album together, we've been friends ever since. 1981: S&L: this was permanently on, at the time we thought Jaco was the greatest bass player so it was no surprise that he played with Joni. 1984: DED: My first experiences and disillusions into the business world. The song Dog Eat Dog was my motto, it helped me cope with the bad experiences/encounters The 3 Great Stimulants: the daily routine in my world.
