I got it all mixed up...The guy who does a good cover of DED is Josh Schurr and no Joni didn't visit him but a friend of hers emailed him and Josh met Joni at an album release party where apparently she recognised him from the you tube covers...or so I have just read on the internet and yes I must have got it confused with the dulcimer gift Joni gave to John Kelly. I see Josh is trying to break into the music industry now by releasing his first EP.Jonilisters must know him well by now I'm sure as he's been around you tube for quite some time doing covers of some of her songs. I could have done with a power outage yesterday ,Mark! I hope your Boxing Day dinner was delish. Gerard. Thining about Sade...Soldier of Love. I have just downloaded the covers but since it is the middle of the night here I shall wait till the morning to listen to them. Thanks Bob. Love your comments and looking forward to the one marked "not for the squeamish " particularly. Sounds like a good bag of dolly mixtures. I guess it is now Boxing Day. Christmas was fun. Managed to burn all the veggies and it was odd listening to everyone round the table tell me how delicious everything was when it was all so obviously incinerated but there's nothing like family for forgiving such things and for dishing out moral support. It was appreciated; Every plate was cleared so perhaps it wasn't so very very bad.It was bad though ! Anyway there is a good cover of DED by NYCITY something or other on you tube. He;s the lad who Joni went to visit at some point or other because she liked his covers, or so I heard. You must know who I mean ...Josh something or other. The List is quiet these days though some good stuff on it all the same.
