I watched it this morning ... so wonderful, and it brought back so many great memories. I thought it was a phenomenal performance at the time but now that I've watched it again, I really think Joni was on the top of her game on this day (and she looked like she was having a great time!!!). Too bad she cancelled the Press Conference that day or I would have finally got the chance to meet her. Boo hoo. I had to settle for being in the front row during the performance!!! :) From: Lieve Reckers [mailto:lievereckers@yahoo.co.uk] Sent: Monday, August 08, 2011 4:49 PM To: Susan Tierney McNamara; Dave Blackburn; betsyblue82@gmail.com; joni LIST Subject: Re: writing process Sue, I was just going to ask for more details, but then William in Miami posted the link which gives more info. Just not enough hours in the day unfortunately; the good news is that I fly out tomorrow PM and hit the USA for about 20 days so I can do a little bit of catching up with friends and family and Joni covers. In the meantime, here's an interesting project - a tribute to Blue wherein the artist covers the ENTIRE album: http://www.spoonysmusicdiary.com/ When I get home I'll update the site accordingly. Thanks to Les and Paul and Monica and everyone who has assisted in my sleuthing (or lack thereof) over the last 4 months.
