It's probably my favorite of all, although it usually seems like my favorite Joni album is the one that's playing. One of the things about THOSL that caught my attention is that Joni wrote a bunch of portraits of other people. Not everything is a about Joni and that seems like a badge of maturity. (Would you rather hear "Blue Motel Room"?) I agree with Monica's assessment (below) too. That said, I think "Coyote" (on Hejira) is one of Joni's best. I'm glad to have both albums and enjoy them both. Jim L'Hommedieu Monica said in part, > It has that many layers for me. I think it comes from an interesting perspective that is Psychologically fascinating. Musically, there are a lot of different elements. Joni really experimented on this album and I applaud her for it. Also, I could not live without Sweet Bird or Harry's House.> ------------------------------ End of onlyJMDL Digest V2011 #156 ********************************* ------- Post messages to the list by clicking here: mailto:joni@smoe.org Unsubscribe by clicking here: mailto:onlyjoni-digest-request@smoe.org?body=unsubscribe
