I think I mentioned this last year. Hope it doesn't seem too off topic. But a jet black acoustic guitar, signed by many classic and current singer/songwriter greats (not Joni - sorry - but many who were inspired by her), is being raffled off through May 4 to raise money for the other public radio series I produce PEACE TALKS RADIO- about peacemaking and nonviolent conflict resolution. Signatures include Patty Griffin, Steve Earle, John Prine, Richard Thompson, Indigo Girls, Brandi Carlile, Dar Williams and many more. You're invited to check it out: http://www.goodradioshows.org/raffle.htm. Buy a ticket of three if you can. Good cause for sure. I found a copy of the article when I was closet cleaning this week. I would be interested in knowing your thoughts. thanks, Mags ( I can repost if anyone is interested). ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 4 Mar 2011 17:28:59 +0000 (GMT) From: Lieve Reckers Subject: Re: movie review of Kids are All Right that I posted Hi Mags! I read it and liked it for sure. It was really talking about the plot so I thought: "Good that this was not circulated before most people saw the film. By now that should not be a problem any more". But it seemed to me almost like the end of the article was missing, like it ended in mid flow. And it did not mention the Joni aspect, which is possibly why nobody else reacted. In any case, thanks for sharing, I still enjoy reading about this film which was one of my favourites of the past year. Pity it didn't get any Oscars, but in any case I think the nominations must have raised its profile. I've saved all the posts about it tho. Terra On Fri, Mar 4, 2011 at 11:28 AM, Lieve Reckers wrote: > Hi Mags! > I read it and liked it for sure.
