I was just looking yesterday at the tracklisting and thought it a good cross-section of Joni's work, covering her "hits" as well as some of her more challenging pieces. 1. Free Man In Paris 2. In France They Kiss On Main Street 3. Dreamland 4. The Jungle Line 5. Furry Sings The Blues 6. You Turn Me On, I'm A Radio 7. Carey 8. Big Yellow Taxi 9. California 10. Help Me 11. Nothing Can Be Done 12. Dancin' Clown 13. Come In From The Cold 14. Amelia 15. For The Roses 16. Both Sides Now (2000) 17. The Circle Game On the plus side, you get a full CD's worth of goodies, including almost all of her familiar songs. It's a fairly decent cross-section of her work although I'm not sure why there's nothing from her first 2 records or TI. But overall it's not a bad intro. Plus, if he/she hears "Dancin' Clown" and still wants to hear Joni, you know they are hooked. I got frustrated after looking at the 1st 3 Google suggestions that led me to downloads for either mp3's or ring tones. So I decided to try Jimmy Webb's official web-site (no pun intended) and although it looks nice, it ain't no jonimitchell.com. No lyrics, no discography that I could find aside from 'Jimmy's albums for sale' in the Store, no chronologies - nothing like all of the informational riches we Joni Mitchell fans have been spoiled with. Nothing against Jimmy, mind you. I'm just sayin'. We are so, so lucky to have such a wonderful resource for our Joni obsession. All hail, Les Irvin and everybody who contributes or has contributed to the web-site. There aren't enough kudos to give adequate credit for the thoroughness, ease of use and overall excellence of www.jonimitchell.com.
