What a childhood. The ending of that film was a little depressing but so was the cold splash of water in the face called the 80s. I still wish I was dancing to Witchy Woman with Joni and David Geffen ... that must have been a very cool party!!! :-) sue - -----Original Message----- From: owner-joni@smoe.org [mailto:owner-joni@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Susan Tierney McNamara Sent: Tuesday, November 09, 2010 12:00 PM To: Paul Castle; joni@smoe.org Subject: RE: Hotel California - LA from the Byrds to the Eagles Damn, Paul. Does anyone remember which concert it was that Joni was talking about Carnival in Kenora and described standing in a field waiting to be run over by stampeding cattle? Obviously she was talking about this film. Every time I listened to that I wondered whatever happened to that film. Obviously Richard is a lot more proactive than me!!! Thanks Richard!! Joni standing in a field of wheat singing Come to the Sunshine ... so beautiful!
