You can select 720p for HD, 1080p also but a bit too much data for standard DSL lines. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3u2WZl76Zo Hope you dig... dave - ------------------------------------------------------------ The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain proprietary, business-confidential and/or privileged material. I really found this phrase particularly interesting since I think we all agree there are many "great" singers (or songwriters) that are not necessarily "popular," mostly because they refuse to conform to a current trend or sound, but still maintain a devout (albeit smaller) fan base. Kenny B ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 01 Sep 2010 23:01:11 -0400 From: "Jim L'Hommedieu" Subject: Cloud illusions and affectations Joni said in part, >>They had a way of affecting vowel sounds so that when they sang together, they would sing like a unit.>> Paul C asked, >Anyone else hear any of the CSN&Y 'affected' vowel sounds?> I had not noticed this until I read the article (way back when). Here's what I think I hear: sustained vowels in these places... >>In a Bleecker Street cafe, found someone to love to-day-eeeee. >>I met you on a midway at a fair la-aaa-st year. >>... in a black maaaaaan's ear. >>when I first saw your gaaaalery... >>Songs to aging children cooooooome But that stuff doesn't bother me. To me, that just sounds like a songwriter fitting her syllables to the available music: perfectly normal song making. What bothers me about "Clouds" is that high range that she uses. To my ear it sounds a bit like Ian and Sylvia, especially the cloying, double-tracked vocal on "The Gallery" and "Songs To Aging Children". It's somehow one dimensional, like fake sincerity. ------------------------------ End of onlyJMDL Digest V2010 #244 ********************************* ------- Post messages to the list by clicking here: mailto:joni@smoe.org Unsubscribe by clicking here: mailto:onlyjoni-digest-request@smoe.org?body=unsubscribe
