Beaming with pride I was! Congratulations... andyou can add one more BSN - I'm about to e-mail you a version by myfriend Amy Carol Webb, who recorded it for her new covers CD, RhythmRhyme Reason: Songs That Taught Me... :-) Enjoy! Like I always say, I can't do it all by myself. Well, I guess I could, but it's a lot more fun when others play too. I see where her version is available on her website: http://www.amycarolwebb.com/music.html I'll add it to the ever-expanding list. Wonder when we'll get #1000?! So... I attached - figured you'd want the full song... :-) Speaking of Joni covers that originated in Florida... in two weeks I'll be hosting a house concert for Laurie McClain... who did a lovely version of A Case of You with Karen Mal on their 2004 Live at the Main Street Cafe CD - it is of course included in your ever-growing list! Oh, maybe you're not counting badly produced home-recordings done by people who are three sheets to the wind or just plain awful even without alcohol, are you? I'm thinking of a caterwauling version, but I'm sure it has been done before. ________________________________ From: "Bob.Muller@Fluor.com" To: Susan Moss Cc: joni@smoe.org Sent: Tue, June 1, 2010 11:17:11 AM Subject: Re: Joni Covers (Both Sides Now) Thanks Susan! Believe me, if I was to count and include EVERY version on YouTube & MySpace, I could probably pass the 1,000 mark this week. I do include recordings from both sources, but they have to have enough audio and musical quality for me to do so. The vast majority of them are horrible. What are these people thinking, putting up horrible videos of themselves singing? In some cases, they'll even say "I messed up the words" or "I played the wrong chord" or "I know this is awful, but..." so why not have another go at it?
