Luckily these days there are FAR more in the positive column than the negative. I do have the unplugged Nazareth version, along with a couple other studio versions, a live version, a mono version, and a version by Doogie White that was done for a Nazareth Tribute album. This cover spawned a ton of heavy metal covers of TFT and made Joni a lot of money. It's in the top 20 of Joni covers, I would hope she appreciates it but she'd probably just call them plagiarists and fakes - ha. And I still think the opening riff on the electric version inspired "Barracuda" by Heart.
