I personally think that there is room for a good Director to make a Documentary Film of Music in the 60's and 70's Yikes!!! there certainly is Plenty of subject matter to say the least /// you would have to almost restrict it to one side of the Atlantic or the other to combine England and the West coast explosion would be to much to do You could start with Bob Dylan Joni Mitchell Joan Baez Judy Collins the Byrds, Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, Crosby Stills Nash and Young and on and on before all the rare tapes disappear forever there should be some record of that time !!!! don't You think ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Oct 2009 07:51:19 -0400 From: Gerald Notaro Subject: Re: Buffy's Running for the Drum (very low jc) I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Roberto. Just got through mixing and mastering 139 tracks from September's JoniFest in Idyllwild. There are some stellar performances and lots of fun JoniFest vibes to discover here. The link is good for 13 more days and I have asked Bob Muller to re-upload the huge file (a 6 hour upload on DSL) so we can have a second link once my bandwidth is exceeded. He will provide a second download link soon. The download is about 1.1GB so will take two to three hours. The files are all high resolution mp3s to be compatible with any computer. The performance by my band Mutts of the Planet is in not included in this download. It is still production and will be available shortly in edited form as an official CD release once I have licenses, artwork and manufacturing taken care of. http://tinyurl.com/yfo6g64 thanks, Dave P.S. Many JoniFest performers are professional musicians with CDs of their own available and I would like to include their links here so you can check out their official releases for sale. http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/rathburn http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/rathburn3 http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/rathburn4 http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/kevindanzig http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/brittdoehring http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/realwomen http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/CahillDelene http://kayashley.com/home.html http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/katebennett http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bigyellowtaxi ------------------------------ End of onlyJMDL Digest V2009 #280 ********************************* ------- Post messages to the list by clicking here: mailto:joni@smoe.org Unsubscribe by clicking here: mailto:onlyjoni-digest-request@smoe.org?body=unsubscribe
