She and her husband Keir Nuttall won the 2008 International Songwriting Competition for their composition "Caught in the Crowd" from her most recent album "Curioser". According to wikipedia, it was a unanimous vote by judges including Tom Waits, Robert Smith (The Cure), "Weird Al" Yankovic, Neil Finn, Ray Davies (The Kinks), Jerry Lee Lewis and more. Go figure! She is currently touring the US supporting Ben Folds, but will be back in Australia in November. Her stage show is supposed to be very amusing (see Jenny Goodspeed's post).
