You are so descriptive, I almost feel like I was there. So glad you all had a wonderful time. Dave and Robin really went all out it seems. Maybe I can borrow Robin for OzFest. I'm not even going to attempt to cater. Idyllwild sounds like a gorgeous place. Everyone seemed very relaxed and seemed to really enjoy themselves. Cassy, you must have been looking forward to this. How did you find the time to make all those things? I hope some of you can make it to OzFest too. Congratulations, Robin and Dave on a very successful JoniFest. But as soon as the problems are resolved, something tells me I'll be sitting up all night looking at youtube videos -- I've been drooling over them but unable, with dialup, to watch them. Methinks there could be some terrible late nights once I set up my office over there! Can hardly wait.**** Hey farmer, farmer! Put away that dial-up now! ; ) Yes, you'll be up all night in your studio, for sure! Just like my Doctor My Joni Eyes said. One Joni youtube leads to another, "and you know, there may be more" and you will be transported. And then, you are so moved by the mind beauty (so deep, not superficial), you will want to share them with the list, or on FB, or with your mother or another lover or your sister or the queen of your dreams, and then it all gets so crazy. Just a word to the wise: make sure you having a whistling (Winn-Dixie) tea kettle. Joni youtubes are a repetitious danger. I have almost burned down the house while watching them, or even just reading the digest for that matter. Yes, you put on the kettle, tell yourself you're going to just "check one thing", and before you know it, white flags of another ruined teapot wave up in your hard-up kitchen! Burning down the house could undo all the joy that could be.We don't want to see a farmhouse burning down in the middle of Saskatchewan in the middle of the night. ; ) EnJOY! xo, pp "If everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace." -- John Lennon http://www.imaginepeace.com/ _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail: Free, trusted and rich email service. http://clk.atdmt.com/GBL/go/171222984/direct/01/ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 4 Oct 2009 08:25:06 -0700 From: Dave Blackburn Subject: Re: JoniFest 2009 Joni Fest We went through all the JoniFest T-shirts I had made, but if there is enough demand for more (maybe an order of two dozen) I can have another batch made very easily. They are simple and personal and don't look at all like the mass-made merchandise t-shirts one finds at concerts or at many of the artist's websites online stores. I appreciate you sharing them with us. My son, sister and brother-in-law loved theirs and have asked me to thank you and Robin once again for the kind gesture. Jeannie PS: I really enjoyed what the Creekstone Inn's hostess's husband did to her t-shirt. He lowered the collar, shortened the sleeves and sewed a colorful border along the seams. I want one of those now. Her husband tried out for last season's "Operation Runway" but didn't make it this last time. Hopefully he'll make it this next time for the upcoming competition---a very creative gentleman! - --- On Sun, 10/4/09, Dave Blackburn wrote: From: Dave Blackburn Subject: Re: JoniFest 2009 Joni Fest To: "Joni List" , "Kate Johnson" Date: Sunday, October 4, 2009, 10:25 AM We went through all the JoniFest T-shirts I had made, but if there is enough demand for more (maybe an order of two dozen) I can have another batch made very easily.
