I That's amazing Cyndi as an afterthought - second string ... considering she damn near stole the show (if it hadn't of been for the likes of Diana Krall, Richard Thompson and a few others). ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 14 Aug 2009 05:26:38 -0700 (PDT) From: Bob Muller Subject: Re: The Joni Album for when you're feeling naughty... I'm thinking it's just an honest mistake, Mark - when you sell on ebay, you can type in a search and see if they have a pre-defined item that matches your item. Since this seller appears to be new to ebay, I think they probably typed in "Court and Spark" (or Spank as the case may be) and made an incorrect selection. Or...maybe C&S is REALLY a double LP and we've only been enjoying half of it all these years. Wouldn't THAT be sweet? Happy Friday to you and all in JMDL-land! Bob NP: Joni, "Trouble Child" (all of this talk about C&S has inspired me to play it, and I would encourage all to do the same..what a fantastic album!) ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 14 Aug 2009 12:54:58 +0000 From: Patti Parlette Subject: Back to the garden Harry Smith on the CBS Morning News Show just said: "We're going back to the garden." Wouldn't THAT be sweet? >>> There is a cool website called "Fat Fingers" at: www.fatfingers.com where you can search eBay and it will include misspelled items in the category you're searching. This worked really well for me last Christmas when my niece wanted a Trivial Pursuit Millennium edition in the wedge-shaped tin. It was quite a spendy item until I used fatfingers and bought one for the minimum of $6.99 because of the title being misspelled. Speaking of Joni on eBay there is an auction at the moment for a promo LP from Argentina which includes a cut from Joni called "Volver Del Frio" which translates, literally, to "To Return From the Cold" (Come In From the Cold, I'm sure). Might be worth a look for those who collect rarities. http://tinyurl.com/n2eso8 A second LP addition to Court & Spark would be fabulous!
