He is so calm and cool and still full of youth and vitality and that good feel he gives out is more contagious than any swine flu-virus could ever be and it feels so healthy and he makes me feel alive, alive that I wanna just get up and jive, wrecking my knee-cut jeans in all these calming juke-box dives. Truly, Jeannie PS: Thanks for the link, Rian. Wayne Shorter is truly outta sight on Sax. I saw both Herbie and Wayne perform when I lucky enough to score first-row, smack-dab-in-the-center seats a few years back. I didn't know Joni was good friends with them at the time---all I knew is that Herbie and Wayne blew me away on some cuts I heard and that was amazing!! - --- On Thu, 5/7/09, Rian Afriadi wrote: From: Rian Afriadi Subject: Herbie, by Joni and Wayne Shorter on TIME magazine To: "jonipeople" Date: Thursday, May 7, 2009, 9:02 AM Sorry if already mentioned, I'm catching up the posts and haven't finished.
