On the two tabs pages the tuning is given as Paul describes below (CGDFGC). This is correct if you want to play the song up a half step but the song is in B (the lead sheet is correct). All those strings need to go down another half step to be in the "Hejira" key. It is one of the most difficult tunings to get to play in tune as the strings are so slack. If you use a tuner to tune the open strings it will sound horrible when you fret a chord that combines fretted strings with open strings. You have to drop the tuning of the bottom couple of strings way flat to sound right when barred. I WISH it was in C...that would tune a little better.... You haven't missed anything, Stewart - I'm still working on the follow-up. Sharon was delighted in the interest of the group and the questions but I sensed that she didn't want to be rushed and wanted some time. Out of respect for her comments I wanted to give her that. But I will rekindle that flame again shortly. Thanks for the nudge. There is a picture of a young Mia Farrow with her mother Maureen O'Sullivan. Mia's haire is long in this picture and I think she looks a lot like Joni. The article also said that Mia had polio when she was 9 years old, something I was unaware of.
