I feel privileged to have been present at two Jonifests in Oliviera that he attended. I didn't get to know him as much as I liked but he was clearly a fun-loving rascal who made everyone laugh to tears and in my book that is the best kind of friend. God bless him and his family. sue ___________________ /___________________\ ||-------------------|| || Sue McNamara || || sem8@cornell.edu || ||___________________|| || O etch-a-sketch O || \___________________/ http://www.jmdl.com/guitar http://www.cloudheights.blogspot.com "It's all a dream she has awake." - Joni Mitchell ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 9 Feb 2009 09:38:53 -0800 (PST) From: Monika Bogdanowicz Subject: Re: A sad farewell May he rest in peace..... - -M ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 9 Feb 2009 13:40:51 -0800 From: "Cassy" Subject: Etta James -vs- Beyonce over "At Last" On the web today I found this little video clip with Etta James spouting off about Beyonce singing "At Last" for President Obama's first dance as President with his wife. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/4565594/Grammy-Awards-2009-Rihanna-pulls-out-after-Chris-Brown-arrest.html At the right hand side play videos area look for "Etta James Rant." Makes me wonder if she was upset with Joni too.
