They misprinted them so that the order of the songs on the digipak doesn't match the track order on the CD. While they're waiting for replacement copies from Universal, they've been told to go ahead and sell the misprinted copies ahead of schedule if we want. Not sure if that makes them more valuable or less valuable! But at any rate, I'm able to take mail orders if anyone's interested... Track listing as follows (though I think on the CD, Shine & Woodstock are reversed) The Fiddle & The Drum Sex Kills Passion Play (When All The Slaves Are Free) The Three Great Stimulants Shine Woodstock For the Roses The Reoccuring Dream Ethiopia Slouching Toward Bethlehem If I Had A Heart If Big Yellow Taxi 2007 A portion of proceeds goes to the ballet ($1 I think), and the rest goes to Joni from what I understand (though I wish I understood more about the industry). Herbie was singing Joni's praises as a composer, and talked about how he found out she was a fan of Tina Turner, and was thusly thrilled to get TT to sing on the Joni Letters album. The guy just does not look 69 years old! Or play like it! (last ad I promise) Hey again Listers, I talked Harry into letting me sell the DVDs too! So I can also hook us up with The Fiddle & The Drum Ballet DVDs straight from us ahead of the February 10th release date. Sweet! I don't want to use the Discussion List like an advertising platform more than as a mention, I feel weird about it already. So if you're interested in purchasing the CD or DVD, just drop me a line and I'll give you further details. Thanks so far to people who are ordering the Soundtrack CDs too. The ballet only gets a portion of sales as a donation towards touring the Joni ballet if we sell them directly (not Amazon or something), so getting them from us is really appreciated! So from now on, all my emails will be NAC (no ad content!) even if it has to do with Joni. I don't want to get disbarred from the listserv or upset anybody. It's been great to read all the posts so far! What a great gathering you had in Europe.
