I can't remember if we set Anita's camera up on a rock, with the self-timer to shoot it) or if Bob Muller took that photo with Anita (or Steph's) camera. If anyone would like to see it, I could scan it & send you a .jpg (with Anita & Steph's permission, of course)" Kenny, you set it up on a rock. It's one of my favourite photos as it reminds me of that wonderful time when I first met Joni Listers and emerged from those years of feeling I was the only person in the world who liked Joni - so it was fantastic. Please share it if anyone's interested! Of course, we'd also had the long winded drama of buying Joni's blonde guitar on ebay at that Fest of 2003 - which, of course, was solved when the wonderful Ashara agreed to take delivery of the guitar and bring it to Joni Fest. What a dream - my first trip ever to the USA to take delivery of Joni's guitar and then play my arrangement of 'Woodstock' with everyone, near Woodstock on Joni's guitar. What BIG Treasure! Of course, Catherine and I are currently in an off list negotiation about me swapping the guitar for my Joni all time dream treasure, which has to be, of course, Catherine's FTR Kleenex. Catherine has privately told me that she's heard there's a box of Joni's Tampax out there, somewhere, which may be on ebay durng the coming weeks. Obviously, Catherine is trying to secure this box for her Joni Treasure collection, but her financial offer depends on whether they are used or not. Tsk...tsk... Anyway, i want to see Laurent's Joni outfits! Share us the photo, please... I brought the treasure discussion but i haven't told mine. My turn. My joni treasures are her CDs (and her covers, bootlegs, demos etc etc) which are EXTRA SUPER RARE in Indonesia. And 1 year since i joined jmdl (yes, today's probably my 1st jmdl anniversary), my Joni treasures keep on growing and growing. I bought some myself (with super extra extensive searching in every music stores in this country), some are donated by people here. So, in this anniversary, i'd like to thank: Bob Muller Jerry Notaro Peep Richman a.k.a Bo Mark Leon-Thorne Cindy Vickery, and Eric Taylor for their generosity (that becomes my treasures) You're my Joni-heroes. And of course i also would like to thank all of you here for this warm cyber friendship. The woman in the picture is ME back in the day. Oh man, let me tell you. Joni and I hung at at Newport. That was a crazy, wild time! Joni was hilarious. - -Monika ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 20 Sep 2008 09:10:36 -0700 (PDT) From: Monika Bogdanowicz Subject: Re: Joni treasure Well, after thinking about this for a little bit (and getting the time to reply), I'll have to say my greatest Joni treasure is Joni's music itself. Without that, nothing else would exist whether it be a DVD or a book or a picture (well pictures would exist as she is a human being) and so forth. So Joni's music is my greatest Joni treasure. - -Monika ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 20 Sep 2008 14:36:14 -0400 From: "Jim L'Hommedieu" Subject: Subject: RE: mystery woman She was shooting 8mm film in '69?
