I see that the red dot has just turned to blue on Bob's 'Joni Undercover' site so I imagine he'll be including it in the next volume but there's a full stream now on Darrell Scott's MySpace page @ http://www.myspace.com/darrellscottmusic His MySpace also has his cover of Leonard Cohen's 'Joan of Arc' (with Mary Gauthier & Alison Krauss on vocals) and his own version of his song 'Long Time Gone' with Tim O'Brien (covered recently by The Dixie Chicks) plus his fun song about George W Cheese! best PaulC np Heidi Talbot singing Tom Wait's "Time" (from her fab new album!) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 3 Sep 2008 13:01:13 -0400 From: Bob.Muller@Fluor.com Subject: Re: Bluegrass Urge Very observant of you, Paul - I agree that Darrell's version of UFG is an excellent one. Not the first time it's been given a bluegrass treatment but still is very enjoyable. I'm actually running ahead of the times with a big backlog, this one will appear on Volume 115, about a year away! Don't blame me, there are just a lot of people recording Joni songs these days - and I guess we can't feel badly about that. I am a couple of days tardy with getting the latest volume released, I'll right that situation tonight. It is very much appreciated. Fancy missing Joni9s only appearance in Oz, but I would not have attended even I knew she was here. I was more into Bay City Rollers, Angels, JPY, Sherbet etc at that stage (how embarrassing!)
