Unfortunately I couldn't be there but 20 years ago he performed in the same place and I was there. The stage was set in a park, open air, everybody was sitting on the grass and it was a hot summer night. The set list was extensive and Cohen was very chatty and apparently enjoying himself. In fact, he seemed unwilling to end the show so finally people left without waiting for the grand finale as it was getting very, very late. It was great, though, a memorable evening/night/early morning, and you got your money's worth, to say the least. Glad to hear he's still going strong! One of my favorite Joni tunes is "Down to You", I play it a lot and never tire of it and I'd love to think of a place in my life to use it to punctuate what's happening.
