My mantra for all time and my exploding always, anytime line: 'People will tell you where they've gone They'll tell you where to go But till you get there yourself You never really know.' Just wished I remembered it as I morphed into a cocky-know-all-about-Life- the- Universe- God - and everything else in the pub just now. Oh well, that's Belgian beer enlarging an ego for you. No, she doesn't say anything about him, but her name is in here. And I DO NOT LIKE THE ASSOCIATION! I do not like it. Not one little bit! Ewwwww! http://www.cjr.org/campaign_desk/barack_obama_stevie_wonder_gee.php Bush listens to Joni. But he doesn't *hear*. Oh my aching back. I know we knew this before, but it still doesn't sit well to see her name next to his. Shadows and light. You know her thoughts don't fit the man. They never can, they never can! Love, Patti P. Countdown: 204 more dark cafe days P.S. RR -- how are you doing with the fires? Please keep us posted. An AP article today said: "Hundreds of lightning-sparked wildfires have turned the air of Northern California into an unhealthy stew of smoke and ash..." Too bad you couldn't come here to lose the smog! Be well. And how are you, David Sapp, with the floods? And Mark's friends and kin in Iowa? Too bad we can't take all that unwanted water and aim the hoses on California. I'm sending up prayers and good vibrations. _________________________________________________________________ The im Talkathon starts 6/24/08. The song is easy-listening.... But, the problem with easy-listening song is that the song tends to be boring with just a few listenings... I always skip For Free everytime I play LOTC, these times. Boho Dance is a bit heavier. Casual listeners won;t notice the song. But,,, the good thing from a heavy song is that the song will everlast. Yup. It took time for me to appreciate The Boho Dance,,, but, ever since, i never skip the song. I guess you just never know sometimes. The idea of Bush listening to Joni Mitchell seems a bit odd but then again, I love Iron Maiden though most people probably wouldn't suspect that.
