I listened to Ladies of the canyon all the way thru saturday afternoon...It brought back so many memories of first discovering joni..Wishing i was a man of the canyon or a gentleman of the canyon?? lol..I like brother of the canyon..Either way..The albums starts off easy ..Like a good morning should...Then really takes you on a journey...I have lived the song conversation and to this day it evokes in such eerie accuracy a time in my life when joni truly "was there for me".."For free" god how poignant..The album is really a foreshadowing of whats to come..She was like, get ready y'all ..I am going to fill this decade with some of the most genius sh*t you've ever heard!!
