The J is hard in English and, since he was raised in the USA, I assumed it to be pronounced that way. One area where Americans differ from Australians is on vowels. Americans use long vowel sounds. Australians defer to the short vowel sound usually. Therefore, "Jacko". Americans may pronounce it "Jahco". Can the Americans confirm this?
