I do believe it's those kinds of fear based hopes that made Joni determind to succeed. More than anything, including the pursuit for fame and artistic recognition. I agree that if I buy a CD I want to see a picture of the artist, I actually get quite frustrated when I don't see him or her. Maybe my reaction to her face on Holy War was that the was message of the text and the imagery is so strong and her face seems to somehow interfere with that. I think wallpaper is somehow differenct from CD covers, but I don't know why, because I have had lots of faces as screen savers. Somehow, to have Joni Mitchell staring at me from my screen seems too intimate, as if I had a close friend or lover staring at me. Maybe I'm just a bit incoherent about he whole thing...! Every day during the month of November we'll be selecting a new artist to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Thanks to you, Joni Mitchellis our next inductee and will be the featured artist tomorrow on KINK. Not only will you hear a lot of her music, but we'll also delve into her history and celebrate one of the greatest artists of our time. Because you voted, you are entered to win our daily prize -- a collection of Joni Mitchell's music, courtesy of Music Millennium, and an iPod shuffle from Pro Photo Supply. Furthermore, at the end of November one KINK Commuity member will win the grand prize: a Bowflex Extreme 2 home gym, with the Treadclimber 5300 and Select Tech dumbbells, along with a digital photography package including an Apple iMac computer and a Canon Digital XTi camera from Pro Photo Supply. Be listening Wednesday, November 8, as we induct Joni Mitchell into the KINK Hall of Fame. Thanks for being a part of the KINK Community! This is a promotional message from KINK FM 102. 1501 S.W.
