There sure are some gems in there. Goldie Hawn was a surprise for me. She actually has a great voice. I wonder what Joni thought of Bing Crosby's cover of BSN. The Repairs really conjures the era for me but, what is that creepy whispering? Michael Feinstein has some major echo going on there but, I guess that's Broadway. When I campare someone to Joni it has some validity due to my first-hand knowledge of her and, for me, it is a rare occorance and I don't make such a comparison lightly or often. Of course you are correct that there are many other fine talents who attend to this list but, as Joni is such a 'musician's musician' that certainly comes as no surprise. Further, I suppose there are many artists who are regarded with that same feeling that I had for Joni's music back when she was 'our little secret' so many years ago and that I have for yours as well, that feeling that 'why should I be so lucky'... that feeling I get every time I put on your cd. I long for the day when the world awakes to its beauty and I think Joni would agree... Goldie's cover is great and not cheesy like you say, and she knows that the phrase is Mattala Moon and not Mantle Of The Moon, so she gets bonus points for that. And hey, we're just 2 slim weeks away from another new release. Bob, in Raleigh for the weekend Tired of spam? Yahoo! That we don't sit around praying to her every night. That there are people who have a huge variety of musical taste (who also happen to be into Joni as well, but not exclusively Joni), that there are so many opportunities to perform (if you want to, and it doesn't have to be Joni) or just to sit around and jam with others, or talk about many, many things, or not talk if you don't want to. And more. Catherine Toronto - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tired of spam? Yahoo!
