["Sherelle Smith" ] Orange county KEY: 9000E774-D161FE7 ["Theodore & Lori Lytle" > It really is a bit unpredictable. This year, we had a few days in February that were 70 degrees, (*extremely* unusual!!) so, you never know. I would suggest bringing layers so you will be prepared for anything. My guess is that we would be indoors almost all the time, and probably be spending a good deal of time in the Performance Space, even during the day. I can imagine the big fireplace getting a lot of use!! Julius wrote: <> LOL!! Let's decide if we all want to do this first! (It looks like enough people do.) And it will be first come, first serve on the singles, so be tuned to this space!! :-) And Rose asked: <> Yes, this was THE only date they have for us because of the weddings. I think it will work out just fine, especially for those that are flying. The airfares go WAY up during the summer months. I hope that answers most of the questions so far. We haven't heard from any newbies yet. Are any of you game for meeting some of these crazies in person?? ;-) Oh, that reminds me, that some of you may think, "I can't go to Jonifest because I'm not a performer." That is SO far from the truth!! There are many, many of us that don't perform and have a GREAT time at Jonifest!!! Hugs, Ashara - ------------------------ Yahoo! Truthfully Full Moon would be way more practical for me, whatever the dates... though the train is a wonderful, complex, beautiful idea. Ashara asked: "The date that Full Moon is holding for us is Thursday, March 29 through Monday April 1, 2007. ............... What say you?" I say "yea". Bobsart PS - Jonifest 2003 - at Full Moon - was my first and only full blown fest (though I have attended smaller fests and gatherings in NYC). For those of you who have never been, I found my first fest very uplifting - both in terms of the music, and in the spirit of comraderie - and in getting to meet so many JMDLers for the first time. I can't speak for the second through 7th time - maybe Ashara or Muller can do that. But you wanna get there at least once, I can promise you that. PPS - It will be cold at night - but there won't be many bugs. I like the change of seasons idea. Perhaps the next two will be winter and autumn. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 31 May 2006 12:36:06 +0000 From: "Sherelle Smith" Subject: Re: Jonifest? Hi Paz. It's good jabberwocky (I like that word!) and a great idea down the road! Let's keep it on the burner. Wouldn't it be great to get Joni to ride with us for a while? I would love to try to come but I'm not sure of where my life is heading yet. If I am still with this NBA franchise, that is right in the middle of the season so it wouldn't be possible. If not, it might be a possibility. I'd love to go, and March 29-April 1st seems fine for me, but I'd much rather it was in warmer weather. Regardless, that wouldn't stop me from attending. At least it wouldn't conflict with summer vacation plans I'm already working on.
