I'm sure you will make a wonderful father. You've already proved this to some extent by contriving to have Amelia born a month early just so she could be born on Joni's birthday. What weight was she as a matter of interest? My own daughter was born a month early, extremely fast and it was a terrible shock to both of us! We soon recovered though. A great choice of name. Good luck to you all. Jacky ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 10 Nov 2005 10:14:57 -0600 From: Subject: RE: double birthday celebration Azeem in London wrote: "Actually that title is a fib. And, of course, welcome to the world, Amelia! I'd say that Amelia's appearance WAS the celebration. Take care, Mary. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 10 Nov 2005 14:11:59 -0800 From: Richard Goldman Subject: Re: JMDL Digest V2005 #421 Jerry, I was just in NYC (for Rufus's WANT Tour dontcha know) and also went to the "Broadway Sings Elvis Costello" benefit for Friends in Deed, but aids/hiv support agency upon which the "Life Support" group in RENT is based, and... http://www.friendsindeed.org/events_costello.html on Halloween (!) and dontcha know, Nellie McKay was part of the amazing lineup. She played piano (the only artist to accompany themselves -everyone else used the backup band) and she sang a fabulous version of Elvis's "Party Girl", and was delightful to chat with at the afterparty. You can see some cool photos on this page. Hit 'View Photos' and you'll see her with Elvis. http://www.broadway.com/gen/Buzz_Photo_Op.aspx?ci=520476 ~Richard Date: Wed, 09 Nov 2005 12:02:42 -0500 From: Jerry Notaro Subject: Nellie McKay - NJC Just listened to a local interview with list favorite Nellie McKay. Whole show was mostly about her as an animal activist. Another dimension about her that I love. Her new cd is coming out soon and will contain 2 duets. One is with kd lang, the other with Cyndi Lauper. Seems like she9s on the right track track for a very young 20.
