She's the real Joni-phile. We've got one signed print, what's another one. While that amount of $$$ is nothing to sneeze at, there are major gift giving holidays on the horizon. That last statement makes me even more likely to tender a bid. A very astute JMDL'er has informed me that this painting is included with the WTRF artwork (he says as they all go scurrying to their collections), so Jamie I'll bet that's where you've seen it. It is good to read all the JC and NJC. Please be patient and stern with me as I learn the ropes again. Any tips would be appreciated. I saw Alanis Morissette in Atlanta about a month ago and I cannot remember a better concert. I know. Some of you will not read any further. But you have to admit she sings with feeling and guts just as Joni and another of my faves that I was able to see also...Aimee Mann. And I have to give credit to these two....they stayed for autographs where JM didn't. But hey, I totally understand her position. Anyway, just wanted to share my feelings about these artists. I just feel lucky to be living in the age where we are able to hear some terrific "soul" music. There is a lot of great music out there. Lucinda Williams on Leno tonight, Nico Case.....these all have the Joni courage in their music context. It is great to hear....and great to be back.
