Isn't there some huge cash prize connected to that? For literature it's well over half a million dollars i think, not sure how it works for peace prize. No, really, cause if it IS the greatest compilation (of an artist's covers) series in Rock & Roll history, i see no reason why not to inform this to the Guinnes Book Of Records at once! I'm not kidding and no smilies on this post! It's about time that you, your amazing project, everyone who helped you, us all at the jmdl, and, need i say, Joni, would be officialy honoured by one of the best selling books ever! Plus, i think, The Guinnes rewards new records with some money... Anyone's objecting, friedns? Yours, Nuri Read only the mail you want - Yahoo! I was excited when that "Best Of" came out as it featured a live version which was a 'new' one since she had released a studio version only earlier. And like they, one good turn deserves another! It's not like you're claiming a record for baring a child with 3 heads. It's Joni we're talking about, and imoh, this could be a fine tribute to her and one of the best "Joni mentions" ever. That book is so popular, particularly among the younger generation ALL OVER THE WORLD - why not spread the word in a way that is, basicly, fun? - and it's not only about freaks and people walking round the globe backwards - the ART/MUSIC related records section is really good as well as most of the other sections. If there's a "problem" with letting the world know about the compilations, i'll understand. And i respect your humility. But once you see your name and Joni's and maybe the jmdl in The Guinnes, i think you'd be pleased. We all would. For God sakes, Bob, it can be so cool! " - I'll only say that any monies that Guinness would donate go directly to Les for JMDL operations. I knew you'd do nothing other than that, that's why i didn't even speak of it. That's another good reason to go for it. Oy...I might as well talk to the hand. Won't be surprsied if you're np R. Lee's "It's more trouble than it's worth" lyric. Won't be too long before we all start painting... Anyway, Bob, it's up to you. I think (am not sure of it, but i think) that only you can apply for the record. But in case others can do it in your name, maybe someone should do so, cause i'm slowing down and getting tired. Nuri Yahoo!
