Looks like it will be a reasonable read. Love, Laura PS. I'm grieving... a dear friend of mine, Linda, passed away on Tuesday, only 52 yrs old, from cancer. Rosary tonight, funeral tomorrow... And she told her family she wants me to sing the Ave Maria at her funeral... sigh. I'd rather sing Chelsea Morning, but as you wish my love... ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 3 Jun 2004 11:13:07 EDT From: LCStanley7@aol.com Subject: Re: yah mon Catherine wrote: > most ridiculous portrait of Joni ever: > http://images.amazon.com/images/P/1899882855.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg > It looks like they spliced Joni together with Bob Marley. (And other travel lessons learned too late)," by Ayun Halliday. While traveling in Cambodia, the author is invited to stay at a very sparse Buddhist monestary. She says, "I concentrated on the whoosh of the pines rocking in the mild breeze. If I were a monk, this would be the soundtrack to my life. No phone, no radio, no burping, farting boyfriends making fun of yoga and Joni Mitchell."
