I haven't got words to describe the thrill to listen to such a precious recording. This is my favourite period in Joni's career and I was floored when she announced to the audience a couple on 'new' songs: Coyote and Don Juan's. Can you imagine listening to the first time, live, to those two masterpieces? But perhaps my 'best' among the many songs she played is Shadows and Light - played on guitar, in a slightly different mood and with full band towards the end. Great! Sound of the recording is good - not exceptionally good, but OK. Why can't we have an official series of recordings like these? Why Dylan can have it and not Joni? Oh, and I love the photo of Joni on stage Bob has used on the packaging! What is it Bob? Glad you got it and are enjoying it, Raf. As for me being amazing...I'll add that you picked up a couple of discs that I couldn't buy from the States so you are even more amazing than me. You are indeed lucky. Among the aficionados of Joni's non studio released recordings, this is considered among the best. As for Christians (what?!), when I think of my most positive image of one, it is always Bob. He impresses by example, not lecture.
