I doubt that it's correct, but I'd love to be erroneous on this one too! It would be the find of the year to be sure! "Last night Jim and I drove into NYC to see an old childhood acquaintance of mine, Richard X. Heyman, perform at The Living Room on Stanton Street, and whom I haven't seen in 3 decades! We reconnected through his wife Nancy via classmates.com Richard was the drummer in a garage band called "The Doughboys" from my hometown of Plainfield where we both grew up. I told this story already to some of you in private emails, so I'll spare them the details LOL!" ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Jan 2002 11:21:18 -0800 From: "Kate Bennett" Subject: Dreams about Joni rose >>I had a dream and Joni was in it. Richard has been to LA though in the late 1970s. He accepted an offer to play drums with a country rock band called Cooper Dodge (are you familiar with them)? He spent the next decade out in Southern California. He was in awe of the Byrds. He has met Michael Clarke. Nancy and he went to a Grammy party when he was signed with Warner Bros. where he wanted desperately to meet David Crosby, to which he did:0) He met Peter Noone who was a label mate on Cypress. Peter was a real fan of his songwriting. They got together back in New York. Peter was interested in some of his songs, which included a track from his "Actual Size"EP entitled "Hoosier" It was Peter who wanted to sing some of Richard's songs. Nancy told me Peter had been at their apartment and that he is really a funny and intelligent guy. Maybe when you are in NY, we can get together. Richard might have a gig. As for the Living Room, for the short while I was there, I liked the room:~) ~rose ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Jan 2002 18:54:35 EST From: RoseMJoy@aol.com Subject: Re: NYC gig at the Living Room !!!!!
