I found a 2 CD set called "Winterlong" (The Swinging Pig TSP-CD-042-2). "Woodstock" was not listed as one of the cuts. I have a hard time imagining Neil singing it. However, bootlegs being what they are, there could certainly be more than one issue by that name. But I would definitely email the seller and ask before plunking down your hard earned. Maybe consult the Neil equivelant of jmdl. The songs listed were: CD 1: On the Way Home/ Broken Arrow/I Am a Child/ Helpless/Dance Dance Dance/Don't Let It Bring You Down/The Old Laughing Lady/The Loner/ Everybody Knows This is Nowhere CD 2: Winterlong/Let's Go Downtown(sic)/Wondering/It Might Have Been/Down By the River/ Cinnamon Girl. Typically these boots go for pretty high dollars on E-bay. I know we have had threads before on what our first Joni was, and how we stumbled upon her, but thinking tonight about DED, which as you know is one of my faves, I was wondering if anyone jumped on the Joni train with albums that we always argue over -- namely, WTRF, DED, CMIARS, and let's throw TTT in there as well. For me, my first Joni album was Blue, in 88, but I was sort of familiar with her because "Good Friends" got a bit of airplay here, and of course the videos from CMIARS were always on MuchMusic. I went back and bought DED shortly after Blue, and even though I think it kicks ass, I don't know if I would have given it a chance had I not become a convert with Blue. So, anyone here get into Joni with those albums? I don't think I've ever seen anyone say that they had. Just curious, Evian np: "Southside" Moby and Gwen Stefani, who I seem to have an obsession with as of late -- must be her 80's sound! P.S. Don/Larry -- don't let anyone make you feel funny about Garth -- I've got Tim McGraw in the car. ------------------------------ End of onlyJMDL Digest V2001 #54 ******************************** ------- Post messages to the list by clicking here: mailto:joni@smoe.org Unsubscribe by clicking here: mailto:onlyjoni-digest-request@smoe.org?body=unsubscribe ------- Siquomb, isn't she?
