Anything sexual in nature or anything related to survival. Babies and children fall into this second category. people who want to appeal to people easily can always bank on the pavlovian. It isnt an intellectual appeal at all its purely related to the medulla oblongata part of the conditioned response complex. Its that simple. emotional appeal. marcel deste ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 23 Jan 2001 22:11:20 -0600 From: "kerry" Subject: Threefer Madness "Acid, booze and ass; Needles, guns and grass." We have talked this through and feel it is time. We know that this is an amazing, incredible, loving and supportive community which is why we decided to come forward. This is very difficult to talk about and I don't exactly know how to do this so I will start from the beginning. Some of you know already, so please bear with us. We are writing to tell you that we are facing some tough times now and in the near future because of Brian's health. A couple of weeks ago, due to some telling symptoms, Brian decided to see a cardiologist for a check up. He had a stress test done and the very next morning, the doctor called with the results. Brian has a blockage in his descending coronary artery and consequently, there is a marked lack of blood flow to the front of his heart. Brian is going to have a diagnostic cardiac cath done so that they can determine how extensive the problem is and based on the results of that, they will decide what to do about it. Depending on the outcome, there are a few choices. I'd rather not get into those details just now. It is very upsetting to even talk about it. This has been a very stressful and scary time for us both. While we continue to grow even closer in our love for one another, we realize that we cannot do this one alone. We come to you this evening to ask for your support, prayers, thoughts, candle lighting...whatever it is that you do in times of need. Please keep Brian in your prayers so that he can remain calm, optimistic and filled with courage. Please ask for his healing and quick recovery. I need to ask for support for myself so that I can be strong for him. I will be with him for the whole procedure and whatever else they decide to do. If you need to get in touch, you can through this address, rather than my iprimus one. I will certainly let you know the outcome of the cath. warmest and heartfelt thanks to you all in advance, holding hands pretty tight, love, Mags and Brian _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Jan 2001 00:37:06 -0800 From: Michael Paz Subject: Re: Dave Matthews on 1/23/01 12:25 PM, Stephen Epstein at sepstein@agmont.com wrote: > Just saw that 60 Minutes 2 has a segment on Dave Matthews tonight.
