David Wright, David Lahm and Fred, as well as >Leslie Mixon are musicians as well. (Anyone else please feel >free to let us know who you are!) Oh, we have a ton more now! Several will be attending the Jonifest in New Orleans. You should try to come to it, too! I've received music from nearly every one of them and they are all fantastic and several are quite renowned. I feel the need to mention them and I hope I don't leave any out - Of course there are JMDL institutions Chuck Eisenhardt, Steve Dulson, Bryan Thomas, Marian Russell, SueMac and Terry Matlen; Linda Worster from New England, Paul Castle from England, Claud SansSoucie, Catgirl and Louis Lynch the Celtic harpist from PA, Michael Paz from Nawlins, Ashara, Don "Larry Klein" Rowe from St. Louis, Victor from Atlanta, Steve Polifka, Craig Harris from San Diego, Pianist extraordinaire Roberto Holliston from Victoria B.C., Joni's coffeehouse days friend Pat Henry, Clark Carlton and Marcel Deste and I'm sure a few others who are lurking. We even had Joni drummer Peter Erskine and Jennifer Kimball drop in for a couple days not too long ago. A great dream would be to one day have all the JMDL musicians all together at one big Jonifest. Kakki NP: Eric Clapton - Circus (is this one of his most gorgeous songs or what? sigh...) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 20 Apr 2000 00:24:49 EDT From: MDESTE1@aol.com Subject: Re: Singers/Musicians on the JMDL In a message dated 00-04-20 00:14:20 EDT, KakkiB@worldnet.att.net writes: << A great dream would be to one day have all the JMDL musicians all together at one big Jonifest. Sorry if this has been mentioned, but just in case it hadn't-----I just got done watching Larry Klein in a Blockbuster video movie with Rosanna Arquette, Beverly D'Angelo, Michael Des Barres and John Taylor called, "Sugartown." Did I miss something???? I never knew Klein was an actor!!!! Does anyone know anything about other movies he has done? I didn't recognize Larry till towards the end of the movie---during the scene when he was hunched over, (in his unique way,) picking at his guitar. He plays a David Geffen-type character---you guys will just die seeing him doing it up so well---check out his cigar!!! This is a thoroughly enjoyable movie that gives us a glimpse of that particular slice of life in LA within the lives of the music and acting community. Rosanna Arquette looks even more like Joni Mitchell than ever. Does anyone know who these actors are suppose to really be? Julie Z. Webb, who is only scanning the titles of the jmdl digest threads these days ps. Hey Sherelle, good to see you back __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
