Feeling pretty depressed last night I thanked the list for making me "feel like I belong somewhere even though I really belong nowhere." I TAKE THAT BACK! This is the one community in the world that takes me for who I am and doesn't try to change me. People come and go in our lives but I think that I'll still be writing to many of you when I'm 70. I'm thanking the list for being the most accepting and warm group of people I know, and for being (maybe the only) place in the world that I do truly belong. Much happier in CT, Jenny ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 25 Dec 1999 05:50:07 -1000 (HST) From: RainbowCrystal@webtv.net Subject: Christmas Blues/Prayers I heard Carlos Santana on the radio talking about his new album. He was saying if they played more Christmas Blues songs in public places like stores and elevators, that there would be less depression and suicides at this time of year, because good blues actually make people happy, plus it makes them less lonely to know that they aren't alone in their sadness. Jennifer it sounds like you are questionng your faith. "Seek and you shall find' is good advice; also "Be Still and Know". "Illusions" by Richard Bach is a good little inspirational book--"What would you do if God spoke directly to you and commanded that you be happy every moment?" I had an incredible Solstice/Full Moon, camping at a place called "Green Lake." The moon rose orange like the sunrise over the ocean-- very clear and conducive to prayers of World Peace and Harmony. If anyone gets a chance to visit the Big Island let me know and I would love to play "tour guide'. Later today I plan to keep with my own personal "Holiday Tradition" of going to the beach! Saw a whale yesterday! Love and Blessings to you all.
