I heard her at the Arts Northwest Booking Conference as the final showcase artist on 27 October. In the weeks since, I have bought 5 of her CDs, bought and read her autobiography (in about a 24 hour period) and got a big bass clef tattoo. Actually, I am a bass clarinet player (my day job) and I had wanted that tattoo for 20 years.
