Subject: [octoroon] duo vs band

No contest!  Each has its own awesomeness.  I wouldn't miss the duo if I had 
the chance to catch a show.  I'm even contemplating going all the way to 
Indiana to catch them.  That's 12 hours one way.  On the way home I might head for 
the Blue Ridge Harvest fest. to see the whole band play.  This includes Bab's 
on the fiddle.  So sweet!  I'm not invested in the band but I am biased, but 
only by the fact that I really enjoy Laura's music.  

I checked out the link for Drew's pix.  Very nice, I'm glad the link got 
through this time.  FYI, the person identified as Mary in at least one of the pix 
is not the same person as Mary McFaul.  If I can't make it out west to see the 
shows it is good to see pix of them.

Julie: The stage situation would not deter me from coming to the Blue Plum in 
the future.  Actually I thought it was right humorous and charming.  A one of 
a kind.  Keep the stage at the tracks.

Waal, I've never seen the Duo. I've never seen Jen. Last we saw the LLB was 
at Millpond Festival about 6 years ago- I agree with Mary & Lenore, see the 
Duo & the Band whenever the chance arises! We hope to be at the Millpond 
this September
