    If there is anyway this message could be sent along to Laura I would 
really appreciate it or if there is a better way to conact her that you know 
of please let me know. Thanks.
    I am part of a group called the Albany Direct Action Collective, from 
Albany, N.Y. We are a group committed to making our community and the world 
at large a better place to be. We came together during the trial of the four 
police officers tried for killing Amadou Diallo, to protest against police 
brutality. Since then we have remained together to do everything from 
protesting for gay rights, to protesting to for animal rights, to organizing 
a local chapter of Food Not Bombs , and working to keep JROTC out of local 
schools.
    Right now we are working on an entirely DIY compilation album to benefit 
and fund our activities. We are an entirely grass roots organization run by 
youths ages 15-26. The compilation will include everything from hardcore to 
fok music and i thought Laura would be appropriate for the mix. We are hoping 
to get unrealesed material from as many people as possible. If this is not a 
possibility but you are still interested in participating please let me know 
what song you would be interested in including. If you are not interested in 
participating please let me know as well so I can keep track.
