I just tried to order LLove's new CD. I called Ladyslipper and they have it on back order. Won't be available till June. Place your orders if you like just be expecting a long wait for the CD. I am hoping that Lauria will have some for sale at Merle Fest. If so I will buy mine at the fest. Saves the shipping and handling and maybe I can get it autographed too. Hope to see all you Love heads at Merle fest. Laura is playing 3 times. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I'll be the one with the Swannie Music fest t-shirt on Friday. I expect that in NC I'll be the only one wearing a FL. fest. shirt. That way I can be easily spotted by other Love heads who may be on the look out for like minded folks. Sorry to others who face a back order already- it sure went fast. I bought "Forever Dusty" through Ladyslipper too- what a great album. I was never fully aware of Dusty's work- but this is a great introduction to the songs she sang. The best part is the liner notes, in which several artists say what a great influence had on their own lives and careers. To Birdgrdnr: Enjoy the NC shows. My parents live in Jacksonville FL, and I took them to the Magnolia Fest show back in October when I visited them. To Mary McFaul: Are there any Alaska dates on Laura's tour schedule this spring, as in the past? I am considering a move to AK and regular tour dates there by Laura Love band would be an incentive. Of ocurse, I'd miss seeing Rod Cook, Chris Leighton, and Toast a couple times a month in the Seattle area... Peace to all Phil ( Philip S.
