It sounds like the same set list as in Charlotte, and it was truly delightful. Laura puts on an incredible show, despite the multiple technical failings (most notably, mics going out) and the choice positioning of Redding's Library Park next to the railroad tracks. Every twenty minutes or so, when a train ran through, she would improvise a train song, often embeded within the current number, much to the glee of the crowd. I fell in love with Laura and Jen Todd - I was admittedly dissapointed when Barbara Lamb wasn't there, but Jen Todd was a wonderful addition. I was up front and getting DOWN the entire time, delighted by it all. I took my parents (whom I was visiting in nearby Jacksonville) to the show. They sure enjoyed it, although left me to do the dancing. Laura had the first gig on the third day at this outdoor campout festival venue (we were day trippers), going on at 12:20 PM ish. Her job was to wake up the sleepy festival goers. Sure enough, they slowly filled the venue and danced to the music. When the remnants of Hurricane Irene finally passed on the the clouds broke, Laura broke into "Here comes the sun." Very touching, right down to the requested encore. "My booty". Hot Tip for Seattle fans: If Laura sells out the annual show at Shoreline Community College (not too tough, since it's sold out the last couple of years), she can book a night that weekend at Tractor Tavern in Ballard. I'll do my part. Peace. Phil ( Philip S.
