Seems LL will be on the east coast for a few dates. I intend to make everyone. Just Mary, don't disappoint me by canceling any. You can always add some though. I drove all the way to Bloomington, IN over Easter break hoping that date would become a reality and it wasn't. Long way from NC. Now I'm psyched for October. Recently saw Ann and Nancy Wilson doing an acoustic set. If they are in your town you should check them out. It was a great show. The sisters can still kick it out. Anything I can do to help promote the LL shows just let me know. I of course will tell everyone I know. Hope to see all you Love heads that I have met through the last couple of years. They were great although the weather wasn't. I have to say that Barbara was, like, into another universe. Totally awesome. It was great to see Laura working on a big outdoor stage cause I had only seen her in a club before. Laura was kind enough to speak for a minute with my daughter, Emily, who hung around the stage door to meet her. Needless to say, Emily was blissed out. Needless to say, Emily was blissed out. Laura is just too cool for words and such a class act. After the Bloomington, Indiana show a ton of people had talked to Laura and had her sign everything imaginable. A young boy about 10 bought her new CD, brought it to her, and asked her to sign it, which she did. The he said to her, "I wonder if I'm going to like this music. What it like?" He was soooo serious. Laura treated him like gold. She asked, "Did you hear me when I was playing on stage?" "Yes." "Well, the music on the CD is a lot like what I was doing tonight. Did you like it? "Yes, but it's a lot of money and I just don't know..." Laura reached behind her and took a copy of Helvetica Bold from the stack. "Here, just to make sure you get some music you'll like I'm going to give you a copy of one of my earlier albums. I *know* you'll like this." "Gee, thanks. Are you sure?" "Yes, I'm sure." And then Laura autographed that one for him too. Now, if that isn't a wonderful memory he'll carry with him for the rest of his life. Another Laura Love fan is born. :-) Thanks Len, for telling us about your daughter. Be good to yourself, Charlie - -- Subscribe to the Tori and Everything Else mailing list.
