Chris Leighton (LL Band drummer) often plays with him as well. Who knows, maybe Laura would make a visit? Anyway they put on a great show and Rod has an awesome CD out. Catch them if you can! The Des Moines gig happens every Thursday when LL Band isn't touring. On a personal note, I am visiting the East Coast, and met some folks who saw Laura for the first time at the Iron Horse in Northampton MA. They own a coffee shop in Great Barrington (Uncommon Grounds) and had Laura's CD playing. Every bit of exposure counts... (I assume he's paying his ASCAP dues!)
