We had a great time and the standing room only crowd got some good dancing in. I finally met LL, Mary McFaul, and Barbara Lamb in person and got signatures on all of our liner notes. We had Helevetic Bold signed back 93 when my wife saw her at the Still Life Cafe in Fremont. The opening band Beatroots (http://www.beatroots.com) was also great fun. Does anyone know the name of the tune she sang as an encore? And incidentally, does anyone know if LL's Pangaea was inspired or related to the Miles Davis album of the same name? For that matter, why was the album titled so? Thanks to everyone involved for bringing LL to Maine. We are excited that LL Band will be back in Maine on July 31. cheers jimbo ------------------------------ End of octoroon-digest V2 #36 *****************************
