I'll just give my opinion on a few things to maybe start things up some. If anyone hasn't seen Laura and the Band in person then you are truly missing a real experience. If you think you like her on CD-- then Live will blow you away! I didn't like Shum Ticky at first. I thought the remakes of some of her older stuff sounded kinda stiff but I can't get enough of it now. My favorite song is Punctured and Hissing. I finally figured out the chords to it if anyone is interested. She seems to play alot of things in E. So if you haven't seen them, then make it a priority on your "to do" list (even if you have to drive awhile) I promise you won't be disappointed!! I'll have to agree with you 100% -- "Punctured and Hissing" has been my favorite track off the new CD for a few weeks now. She didn't play it at the S.F. @ The Great American Music Hall..... maybe the next time I see her she will. "Less is More" is the only song I've had to get used to. It feels a little slow or something. the whole CD is incredible. I'm debating whether to go to the Santa Cruz or Monterey show. nora Stop the execution of Mumia Abu-Jamal Emergency protest Sat., Nov. 7 @ 1 PM Federal Bldg. 450 Golden Gate, SF www.mumia.org ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
