Does anyone know how I can get a hold of Julie Wolf's album? Laura Love was up here in February and brought Julie's album, but I was a fool and didn't buy it. I've been searching everywhere to find the album, but have come up with nothing. The actual page with Walk the Worn Out FLoor is http://www.ladyslipper.org/catalogs/ladyslipper/ladyslipper.p106.xtml/agaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa#6/2104 or you can just try http://www.ladyslipper.org for their home page. If you don't have a browser, you can also call their 800 number and order. As an FYI, Ladyslipper is a totally cool resource for music by women that might be otherwise difficult to find. When I go on a website for a singer I'm hoping to learn more about, the first thing I look for is a sound file... I'm always anxious to hear a sample of the music and besides, all the biographies and lyrics on the site aren't going to do a thing for me if I don't like the sound. Some people love Tori Amos, and I think her lyrics are good and all, but I don't listen to her music because the sound just doesn't appeal to me... others say the same about Ani DiFranco, and I love her music. To a certain extent it *is* a matter of opiion not just talent. Also I like to have an idea of what I'm getting before I spend 16 dollars on a CD. I completely understand what you mean, and I feel that way about boots and dubbed copies of albums, but I kind of like the sound files... at least in my case, they've generated more money for the artist than they've cost them, because it makes me buy the CDS :) - -Kyle == * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * "The limits of my language are the limits of my world." - Ludwig Wittgenstein http://gossamer.wheatonma.edu/users/kgilbert/mainpage.html kylegilbert@yahoo.com|kgilbert@wheatonma.edu|still_riot@yahoo.com ICQ: "Still Riot", 12504099 _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? I in no way wanted to have whole cd's in audio or mp3 form to distribute freely. However, as you said, before I buy a cd, I'd like to know the content, or at least an idea of it, especially if the artist does not have radio play and is someone I've not heard. The "sample audio's" I've heard are nice, but to be honest, they would not inspire me to buy the recordings if I'd not heard of her already. They are short and do her no justice.. One or two complete songs would do her far better than a 30 second fragment of what someone else might consider the best part of her songs... :) smiles, that's all I'm looking for, and I suppose if I downloaded an encoder and what not I could do it myself, but I just thought someone might already have a copy of something..
