I'm both excited and nervous at going back to work and quite sad to leave my family behind if only for ten days. I figure it'll go by quickly, though if I keep busy. Also, since I wrote the entry I found a meditation group and a Tibetan Buddhist meditation center in Kalamazoo so I hope to have a chance to check both of them out while I'm there. It'll be an opportunity for me to connect with people more like myself than I expect to find in a pharmaceutical environment. Oh, and I forgot to mention about the reaction I got to telling one person that I was flying out to work for the pharmaceutical industry and that I did it fairly infrequently because it paid so well. He turned to me and said in all seriousness and in a sort of conspiratorial way "What do you do...*transportation*" (wink wink, nudge nudge). But no, I don't transport illegal drugs - I work with another shady crowd - the legitimate pharmaceutical industry. And I test pharmaceutical equipment (and write test plans and reports) to provide documented evidence that the equipment is installed, operates and performs as it is specified to do. You'd be surprised how often that isn't the case before it's tested. I think the industry would be very scary without such testing. Anyway - it gives me a chance to use my mechanical and computer aptitudes together and at the same time play with million dollar machines. I'm still a little boy at heart sometimes. Oh, and I'm writing this on my computer while Sage finishes her stuff on *her* computer and so if you get this at 5:30 or so on Saturday (central time) give it a few minutes before looking to allow Sage to upload everything. - -Todd ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 19 May 2001 19:15:02 -0500 From: Sage Tyrtle Subject: Just Off the Square - Decaffeinated Sage Hi all, My site is FINALLY up! I won't lie to you, there's no new writing, but there are lots of new photos that you've never seen before, though a note to the person searching for "nude photos of sage", you're going to be disappointed *grin*. http://www.tyrtle.com/sage/ - -Sage - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Free website critiques.
