Brrrr. I adore winter! Poor Paul has a nasty cold and so can't go out and play, but I bring snow in to him, which isn't quite the same, but still interesting. Todd and I were up for awhile at two in the morning, Todd to keep the fire going and me because I was hungry and restless. I can always tell when I'm awake because I'm hungry because I have the same song going through my head over and over and over again. In this case it was a song from Paul's "Gift of the Tortoise" cd, which is sort of a mix between an African language and English songs: "Vulani RINGi ring, Vulani RING you boys and girls, Vulani RINGi ring, Vulani RING you boys and girls, you are my great big friend, I'll take your hand, and dance in a ring with you, you are my great big friend I'll take your hand and dance in a ring with you..." Argh. After twenty minutes of that I had some toast, which cured the Evil Vulani Song. It was lovey to have a little moment of being awake in the night all by ourselves. Todd has a new journal entry up, which you can find here: http://www.tyrtle.com/new.html The new url for Todd's site doesn't work quite yet, we'll let you know when it does. Shivering and happy, - -Sage ------------------------------ End of newtyrtle-digest V2 #83 ******************************
